UKAS accreditation

British Assessment Bureau holds accreditation with UKAS, the only government-backed body for ISO certification in the United Kingdom.

Accreditation determines the competence and integrity of organisations offering testing and certification services. In short, UKAS ‘checks the checkers’.

UKAS accreditation means we are 100% confident that any ISO certificate we issue will always be recognised throughout the supply chain and for all tendering purposes.

Impartiality Statement

Our corporate maxim …without fear, or favour… originates from the Magna Carta.

By adopting the philosophy behind this oath of allegiance, our stakeholders are assured of consistently high standards. We will never allow the fear of consequences or the promise of favour to influence our professional judgement.

Moreover, we understand the importance of impartiality in carrying out our management system certification activities, managing conflict of interest and ensuring objectivity and have recourse to an Impartiality Committee to help guide us.

Impartiality Committee

Board Members

The British Assessment Bureau formed an Impartiality Committee (IC), charged with ensuring that all stakeholder interests are represented. The members are selected based on achieving representation from the industries in which we conduct certification work and the type of client organisations that we would typically deal with; e.g. SMEs.
